Guidelines on using Gigger.

These are just our terms in their bare bones format to get us out there in BETA version.

Please read this page before accessing gigger.co.uk or related services. Accessing gigger.co.uk and registering as a user constitutes your agreement of our terms.

Welcome to gigger.co.uk, operated by Stephen Lockhart ("Gigger", "GIGGER", "gigger.co.uk", "we", "us", "the website"). We reserve the right to change, modify or update these terms at any time.

Please also read our Privacy policy which outlines how we use your information.

GIGGER allows you to upload videos, upload images, add text reviews, post gig listings and add comments on other user's Submissions. Your access and usage of GIGGER is for non-commercial purposes only. Those under the age of 16 should ensure a parent or legal guardian has read and accepted these terms before access to GIGGER ensues.

We reserve the right to modify our services to you at any time.

Except as otherwise provided herein, any and all comments, suggestions, ideas, graphics, videos, content, data and other information that you transmit to GIGGER through the Services (each, a "Submission") shall remain your sole and exclusive property, and you shall be solely responsible for your Submission and the consequences of posting or publishing it. By submitting your Submission to GIGGER, you hereby grant GIGGER and its affiliates, successors and assigns a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable (through multiple tiers) and transferable license (with a right to create derivative works) to use, copy, transmit or otherwise distribute, perform, modify, incorporate into other works, publicly perform and display your Submission or any portion thereof, in or through any medium, whether now known or hereafter created. GIGGER shall be entitled to unrestricted use of any Submission for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to the submitter.

You also grant each user of the GIGGER website and Services a non-exclusive license to access your Submission through the GIGGER website or any other access point authorised by GIGGER, and to use, copy, transmit or otherwise distribute, perform, publicly perform, create derivative works of, and display your Submission to the extent expressly authorized by GIGGER on the GIGGER Site and/or in this 'Terms of use'. Any Submission you provide GIGGER will be deemed public information.

GIGGER, it's affiliates and successors take no responsiblity for Submissions which are deemed inaccurate. In particular, GIGGER highly recommends that users contact the Venue before attending Gigs posted on the website to avoid disappointment in the case of cancellations or incorrect information.

By uploading and contributing content to GIGGER you warrant that you have the appropriate and relavant rights to do so. By Submitting content you take all responsibility for any action that is persued due to your Submission, and waive all responsibility and liability from GIGGER, it's affiliates and successors.

GIGGER shall not be responsible for any malfunction of a user's computer software or hardware related to any of the services provided by GIGGER or it's third parties. Users access GIGGER and it's services at their own risk.

Whilst every attempt will be made to ensure all services provided by GIGGER shall remain intact and available at all times, GIGGER shall not be held responsible for any down-time or disruption in it's services, or for any issues that arise from such disruption in service.

Users should ensure they maintain a backup of files which they upload to GIGGER. GIGGER is not a hosting or backup service and cannot guarantee 100% to access it's services, and will not be held liable if a user's Submissions are lost or deleted for any reason.

Users are entirely responsible for maintaining their user accounts and the confidentiality of their account passwords.

GIGGER provides a service for it's users to share and promote their gigs and their experiences of gigs. The term 'gigs' relates to live performances in music and the performing arts and all Submissions should fit into this category. GIGGER reserves the right to remove or delete without warning, any user Submission which is deemed not to comply with this category. GIGGER's decision is final on this matter and discussion shall not be entered in to.

GIGGER reserves the right to suspend or delete a user's account should they fail to comply with any of these Terms.

The GIGGER name and logo(s) are the exclusive property of GIGGER or its affiliates. All other trademarks appearing on the Services are trademarks of their respective owners.
