wednesday

first up sammy crockford, strong confident singer and performer, the appletree boys bath's answer to simon and garfunkel give their easy stylish playing and get better every time i see them. the duckworths down to laurie and jools for tonight are frankly great!
last and most definitely not least ian king, truly folk for the 21st century :) brass section, percussion, dubby bass and mr skip macdonald on guitar. superb sound and a sweet take on some traditional songs as well as originals. mr ian king delivers his set with an almost strummeresque vigour, just brilliant stuff!
