square peg round hole

its thursday again :)
first up howii from bath uni, musically ambitious three piece (prog) will improve with time and gigs. the young vinyls sonically remind me a little of the house of love, impressive stuff. finally wilder, bristol band signed by rough trade, great start with squelchy synth led tunes and varies as the set proceeds, good but seem to confuse crowd and maybe just maybe lack a little something special?
