The New Orleans Serenaders have achieved critical acclaim by their performances of the music of Louis Armstrong, Kid Ory and Jelly Roll Morton, bringing to life musical selections from all phases of their careers such as King Porter Stomp, Maple Leaf Rag, West End Blues, Climax Rag, Down Home Rag, Tom Cat Blues, and many more. The Band has made many successful appearances in New Orleans at the Jazz and Heritage Festival, the Satchmo Summer Fest and the French Quarter Festival. In addition they have toured Europe on several occasions, initially in 2001 at the Ascona New Orleans Jazz Festival to celebrate the centennial of Louis Armstrong’s birth. They have recorded two CDs for the GHB label in New Orleans.
